Big Thanks for this weekend

I just wanted to give a HUGE thanks the whole Busse crew. Dan, Garth, Watson, Beef, Shaley, Josh, all a few others for an incredible weekend, it was my first, but definitely not my last!
Wish I could have met Jerry, but the crew made the whole weekend run smooth and seamless.
The only thing that was as cool as participating in the trough, was meeting all the Hogs, old and new..
For a first time piglet, it was a blast meeting all these guys I only see on the forum:
Zmbhntr, now “truffle hunter” this guy is a flying card MAGNET,, he earned his Hog Title over and over
Dave Brown (couldn’t be a cooler/nicer guy)
Dericdesmond (he makes the card grabs 100% more fun/exciting/challenging and at the same time is a super nice guy)
Roenman (true Hog, and a pleasure to talk to)
Cold One and Niddhog (both brought their lovely wives and were great to chat with, I may have to convince mine to come next year)
Ptman2000 (got some Killer blades this year,, I should’ve snagged that light chopper before he did!!)
Brian77 (I didn't get to meet, but as mentioned before, chatted quite a bit with his nephew and son)
Georgecatl (nice taste in knives and folders,, and had a VERY good height advantage on me in the card toss :) )
A guy named Ric that was kind enough to have mercy at the trough and made for a killer weekend for this piglet,, well now, an inducted Hog “Ready Cooked Bacon"
Lots of others that I can’t recall right now, my brain is still a little fuzzy from that weekend..

It was great hanging out with you at Blade buddy! The long wait until next year begins, but we will have to have a couple camping trips in between to tide us over.
 
It was Great meeting both of y'all there! This was our first BLADE, but it won't be our last! I just know now that I have to start saving up earlier!

Rick, Thanks for pointing Beth and I towards that TGLB, that really made her weekend, and went to show how awesome this community is to it's members.

Beth and I had an amazing time meeting zmbhntr, rcb2000, David Brown, Brian77's kid and nephew and a bunch of others that I can't remember their BF handles (Andrew, Brandon, Jerry Fogt taking creep shots of me at Jocks and Jills... the list goes on!) Next year, we'll have to get our room earlier as to not have to stay in what has to have been the seediest hotel that ATL had to offer!


We were home for all of twenty minutes before we got to our "Extreme Gardening" with her new TGLB and the Chop House

 
Glad she got it, thats a great blade for sure.
Cant wait till next year!

This sounds really wrong, but I did find a mistress, even though she wasn't a straight one :D

Congratulations on getting the CGFBM CBT.:thumbup:

Was good talking with you there and meeting some of the other hogs.
RCB ( ready cooked bacon), nice, I will have to see about getting inducted next year.

Well I came home empty handed, will have to be sure to make it Friday as well next year. But on a bright note, I did buy a battle saw and a TGM today, so no more blues for me.
 
Yes, thanks to all of you. It was great. The fun was fun! Picked up a handful of good blades. A CGFBM with CBT, and a competition finish TGM, among others.

Amen to the thanks to Busse crew. Special to Dan for the time visiting, and to Watson for helping the boys. To Jerry for his involvement over the phone picking names, And to Garth for inducting "Beast 1 and Beast 2" love it.

A great show indeed and as always the Busse crews a class act. My wife and I enjoyed meeting you Rick and we agree convince yours to come next year!

I had your face in my head but couldn't remember your screen name,, it was great meeting you too brother,, see you next year for sure
