Some may remember that I was the lucky winner of Davek14's generous giveaway of the Green River skinner with modified handles. Unfortunately I came up empty handed during deer season this year so I didn't get a chance to put it to work but it's day will come! The reason for this thread was to give a shot out to Dave again because he has twice sent me two surprise packages that contain knives to add to my sodbuster collection. He stated that he felt the knives were better suited in my sodbuster collection so he sent them to me. How awesome i that!? The packages contained a Coal miner made in Germany(which they are no longer made in Germany, and two Brown Mules, one made in Germany and one made in Italy. They are now nestled in nicely with their sodbuster brethren:D So, again, I say thank you to Dave! This forum is the best place around because of guys like Dave!

Those are three cracking Soddies Trevor. Dave is a very generous guy, I am proud to own a twin of your lovely GR :) :thumbup:
 
Nothing too spectacular there. I've been going through the collection trying to find places where some stuff might "hit the spot". No need to have a special thread, lottsa much better knives are gifted here. I was glad to get a spot in your Super Spectacular Superlative Sodbuster thread which is becoming a classic.
 
Congrats Trevor and Dave you are being to modest my friend...it's the thought that counts and that highlights your generous nature.

I actually feels those are FANTASTIC knives to gift and to receive---love the vintage knives!!!

So, good on you Dave, it's a true asset to have both you and Trevor as part of this great forum:thumbup:
