It's been one of those weeks this week. About the first chance I've got to sit down it seems like. Got my fire kit from Dizwolf's contest earlier in the week and just wanted to say one more thank you. Really good group of people around here. Fire kit seems awesome. I will have to put it through its paces soon. :D

Great pic. In my opinion, for the cost the GP100 is one of the best revolvers out there.
 
Thanks, it's a fun little gun. Had planned on buying a 4" but once I got my hands on the 3" I was kind of smitten. Ruger revolvers are built like tanks. Not quite as pretty as pre-internal lock S&Ws, but they're great.

As a side note, I was looking at a pic of how light the scales on my RC-4 were when I first got it compared to now. Guess my greasy mitts, have darkened it up quite a bit with use.

Well... I figured you looked a bit lonely in those pics.... now posted on Men Love Sheep and Craigslist under "Farm animals wanted"..... :)

Congrats on the Firekit, your gear looks great... missing a bit of orange, but otherwise :)
