If you were on the receiving end of some Ka-Bar steel at Ethan's Gathering, chances are you're the recipient of some Ka-Bar generosity. In fact, I was on a Sloan's run with Ethan when he intercepted the UPS man and one such box of 1095 goodness. My takeaway was a new flat-ground BK16 that I plan to run stock through the Randall's Adventure Training field survival class. Please take a chance to post up your new blades and give a shout out to Ka-Bar.

Did not manage to make it to this Gathering, but I can attest to the generosity of KA-BAR and Ethan. Very grateful for their support of these events and I have definitely spread the word about KA-BAR and Becker knives.

You can't deny the generosity of Ka-Bar. They take care of us for sure. Thanks a ton guys.

thanks folks!
got a spare BK16 and a Kabarley to replace the one my wife stole -- er, I mean claimed...

Thanks Kabar and Ethan for all the great prizes at the gatherings, monthly contests, and giveaways.

Ka-Bar definitely takes care of us, it is greatly appreciated. I got a BK5 that I'm actually going to gift to a family friend that butchers hogs part of the year. My wife got a new BK16 that she promptly gave her son . He used it Tuesday night to cut flank steak up. I also have a new Parangatang (review coming soon). Thanks Ka-Bar!

wow, i spent all that time in the gathering in that hollow log, and nobody gave me their steel :D

It really doesn't get said offen enough. Thanks Ka-bar!
You guys are awesome and so very generous when it comes to contests, giveaways, and gatherings.
We appreciate everything you do!

I was a happy recipient of y'all's generosity as well, picking up a BK-16, a Ka-Barley and several patches and stickers. Thank you kindly! :)

I really like the BK-16... review coming soonish...

Same here. I wish I could have attended. I did have nice weekend on a scout campout last weekend with my Beckers. We had some Eagle Scouts trying to make kindling with a hatchet and I pulled out my BK2 for a lesson on batoning. I know of at least a few of the leaders that contacted me when we got back on where to order one of those awesome Beckers.

That is awesome. I was undecided on whether I should get an izula or a bk11/bk14. What made my choice easy was Ethan and KA-BAR, I mean you really can't say enough about either of them. The quality of the product is phenomenal and the cost is so reasonable, my BK2 gets a lot of love and besides the coating being worn off (adds character) the thing still rips through wood and carves up steak like new.

Got a 5 that is itching to be stripped and modded, a Ka-Barley, and some cool stickers / patches. (passes to Blade as well!!) The kindness and generosity of Ka-Bar is above and beyond good customer service. That is why I would not hesitate to recommend anything from the BK or Ka-Bar line to interested friends.

Thanks Ka-Bar! You do have a customer for life here. The BK-17 received at Ethan's Gathering is no longer stock as the sheath was dyed black (hint hint) and the awesome BK&T patch was glued and stitched to the flap

Even though I didn't make it to the Gathering this time, Thanks Ka-Bar for being willing to do this! And for making these kick ass knives that we all beat the snot out of!
