Hellooooooooooooo BladeForums!! Cheerz!

After finally sleeping... and not completely slurring my wordz out of exhaustion, I figured that I should post some, say "hi, y'all!"... and then go back to sleep, LOL still tired, but really still getting high off of the memories and good times... And planning for BLADE'08 (Gonna be GREAT!). I really just want to quickly post some thank you's to those whom I met while there, more will surface as I recoup, re-hydrate, re animate :D... But these thanxx I wanted to post now, pix later!

To {{{{{Jerry, Jennifer & Katie Busse}}}}} YOU GUYS ROCK. :thumbup: Seriously, I enjoyed all of the conversations we had, Remember, it's "Neato"... err, maybe spelled Neat-0??, but "COOL" is definitely out... Heh-heh! ...Boss, I especially enjoyed the late night conversations, and also @ Fogo's Sunday night.
** What I found, actually much bigger to me than the knives, was the very warm companionship and the strong sense of family amongst the Busse crew and the Busse families. To me, that spoke volumes. It's something that I feel very fortunate to have experienced, while with them all, Sunday night at dinner. It is like they are all ONE BIG family. Cool :cool: ... The memories will last, the time very well spent!! :D:thumbup: Thank you, Boss, I appreciate the friendship that I felt from you and yours.

To Amy, Garth, Cathy, Ron, 'Waz', 'Bubbles', Lora, Jordan, @ all of the rest of the Busse/ Swamp Rat/ Scrapyard Knives crews that I'm already kickin' my azz for currently forgetting... (More sleep= More memories... I WILL remember you ALL! :thumbup:) You guys... Well without you all, there'd be no Trough so to speak... You'll are the the OTHER half of the reason that I, and I believe many more, collect and use Busse Combat knives. From Jerry's thought & ideas... To the raw INFI... To more ideas and input... Then to the creation and production of new models that just keeps pulling us back IN and then there's these AWESOME customs,... Then to the seriously, unquestionably dedicated customer service... WOW, what a group!!! Thank you all... And really, thank you also for welcoming me in to the world known as... BUSSE. YOU GUYS ROCK! NUKE ON!!!! :D

To Cobalt, Guyon, Ken44, Wash, Paddling_man, randucci, MikeH, idahoskunk, Mrs. Skunk, KAAK, Tony G, Old Physics & Mrs. OP, Mr. & Mrs. G19G26 (CONGRATS, btw!!!), progunner, Ronybear, Resinguy, RVO3VOM, Raden, Gravelface, Stabber & Stabber... Jr.?, Eric Isaacson, thatmguy, TheButcher and the MANY MANY more wonderful folks that I met... Your NAMES (again) I WILL remember as I catch up on some shut-eye ( too much BOOZE + LACK of SLEEP = Duuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhh, :o ... But I thank ALL of you from the bottom of my heart for the conversations, knowledge, humor and stories shared throughout the event. Great times, good memories! There's a real sense of camaraderie amongst all of you fine people (...this also applies to all you fine folks who are here on the Busse Forum too!!!) and I feel proud to know you, and honored for the friendship shown to me by so many. Thank you VERY much!

Jaxx, it should be even better next year. The Cobalts do not go there for just knives we go there for the fun. But next time we will be taking some music and doing dancing.
 
Jaxx, it was great meeting you. Also amazing to see you in operation at the Trough, and I was only there for two offerings. You were like an INFI vacuum. :D

I concur with all you eloquently wrote about the companionship. It really goes so much further than just the knives.

nice meeting you jaxx, and next time i'm taking a lawn chair and a cooler out to the fountain, my back still hurts from that stinkin pillow fight.

What a guy!

Don't believe I've ever met anyone as genuinely enthusiastic and positive as Jaxx. Had a great time talking with him...and being beaten to the INFI at the trough!:o :D

Next year, he ought to bring a 'bearer' or two...to 'bear' away his enormous haul.:D

[Never mind me. It's just INFI envy...just another aspect of this addiction.]
