I sent them a email asking for a a clip screw for my Blur and a torsion bar for my Blackout at 9:58 this morning. At 10:05 I already had a reply from Morgan Tierney saying they will ship the parts out asap! Now thats service.

It was so fast I almost thought it was automated. I sent an email back saying thanks for dealing with me so fast and had another email back from Morgan very soon after.

This really put things in prespective for me because I have recently been pretty mad after contacting 2 knife companies and not really getting any help.

It nice to see people that stand behind their products!

Morgan is the best:thumbup:

I think a Kershaw Subforum Kershaw Employee of The Month nomination is in order. :D

Kershaw is a class business. Great knives, excellent service, and some pretty amazing prices given the quality. They have me hooked and I'm not fighting it. Joe

Morgan is top notch. Kershaw is a great company with great knives and service.

My beloved new JYD II composite had a stripped head on one of the pocket clip screws. I contacted Kershaw last week and I already have replacement screws, as well as a spare clip!

Yes, it's true. Morgan is the best! I had a couple customers who needed parts for Kershaws. One torsion bar for a Leek, and a clip screw for a Camo Chubby(no quotes please;)). Anyway, I come across these needs from time to time for my customers, and I asked Morgan if she could put together a "parts care package" of sorts, with an assortment of some of the most common parts needed to repair the more popular models, and she responded almost instantly, put the package together, and got it in the mail to me.

Just another typical example of Kershaw's excellent service.

Thanks to the whole Kershaw team,

Jon

A few weeks ago Morgan sent me a free Kershaw screwdriver with the (I think 6 & 8 Torx bits) key chain when I asked for a replacement clip for my Speed Bump. Today, right on time a new torsion bar for a Blur.

This kind of service (I have only found) in the firearms business. Generally speaking.
Ruger, Smith & Wesson (in business 150 years), Glock and many, many more treat customers the same as Kershaw. Kimber & Springfield Armory are getting a bit snooty (IMO). It’s a simple part of ANY business plan. It’s easy to do and the rewards are a loyal customer base that slowly grows with word of mouth. Like here.

I cannot figure out why so many other sectors have not figured this out yet. There are very few monopolies. But many out of business or mergers with others to stay in the black, if possible.

Just an update....

I got the clip and torison bar from Kershaw on saturday (I was out of town so I didnt know till now).

There was also and extra torsion bar for my blur in there even though I dont need it.

Kershaw rocks!
