I am currently looking for a big folder, thumbstud liner lock production knife, plain edge, satin or polished with a blade of nearly or over 4 inches. Prefer heavy, beefy folders. Any suggestions appreciated. Need a street or used price of not more than $200.00.

Thanks much.

How about a Hogue EX02 (the 3.75" version)? It comes in multiple blade shapes and colors of g-mascus handle slabs so you have lots of style choice options. Also, it weighs a bruising 6.6oz.

Cold Steel Recon 1 and many other Cold Steel models. CTS-XHP is a great steel.

Oops, missed the liner lock bit. A Spyderco military if the Spydie hole is ok. Otherwise, well...

Normally I don't recommend Benchmade, but for your parameters, minus the liner lock;

Crooked River
Adamas
Contego

I love the Socom!!! I could go as high as 225.00 if I could find a good condition used one. Been looking for awhile but they go super fast on the forum. Just missed one recently.
Check eBay. They're there all the time. Also knifeswap on Reddit usually has at least one available.

In addition to a used Socom Elite (seconding that recommendation), you should be able to find a used Emerson Super Commander for that price -- assuming a thumb disk vs. a thumb stud doesn't bother you.

Thumb disk doesn't bother me. Is the texture of the Emerson scales rough enough to slow down deployment at all?

I've never noticed it slowing down deployment, but all of the Emersons I've owned have had aggressively rough G10, yes.

I just spend about 30 minutes rubbing the scales on an old pair of jeans while watching TV, which tames the G10 down without making it meaningfully less grippy (and unlike sanding, produces no G10 dust).

I would check out the crkt seismic, has thumb stud and flipper, 4" blade, their new 'dead bolt' lock,adjustable detent, weighs around 6oz and 120$ new

I know it's only 3.5", but no one mentioned the Rat1 in D2? Wow. Plus you'll have pocket change after the purchase.
