Getting some big time snow here.

Thanks to WSS I headed out the door thinking survival;)

Have an extra set of gloves, down coat and gore tex parka in the car. Have a headlamp hanging off the mirror. Knife of course, space blanket, tools.

Wore my waterproof boots. Hat mitts etc.

4wd truck got me to work.

Only problem now is sweat. Walked over to the bakery at lunch little over a mile and back and with all the clothes on carrying a big bag of bread and muffins and snow about 5" now I'm HOT!

It's got to be worth it for good bread and muffins.

My next bunch of good snow is kicking in right now so I have high hopes for the weekend.

At least you got snow...we got rain, freezing rain, then sleet, lots of ice, then more rain... then slush.....

Umm, we need pics of those muffins and cookies, or it didn't happen !

;)

ditto. i'd rather have a foot of snow any day over freezing rain and slush. everything just looks so pristine...at least for a few hours or so.

and drivers seem to drive a lot carefully when there's snow even though freezing rain/slush is more dangerous...go figure.
