I had Travelpro luggage for couple of years and I can't use it anymore, zipper is destroyed and I have to buy new luggage. The problem is that I don't know which one to pick! I can't choose!
I need your help...
What do you use? I had hard case, now I am thinking to try soft case, is that better? What do you think?

I believe hard cased luggage is safer on the airlines, but more difficult to carry around. My weekend luggage is soft sided and my extended stay is hard sided.

I love duffle bags. Easier to carry, stows better in car trunks and multiple ones can be mushed in together in corners and odd spaces. On airplane carry on, a medium duffle bag can be stuffed under the seat so you don't have to wrestle with the crowded overhead bins. I've got a large one that is a square shape with a zipper flap on top that is a dream to pack or find something in because the whole top zips open and flips aside. And the really nice thing about duffle bags, when we're not using them, they all get rolled up and stuffed into one big one so they don't take up a lot room on the basement shelf. One duffle bag holds the other several.

With both the better half and myself being retired now, we're traveling a lot. The 'ol lady likes to put her stuff in many small bags that are color coded. Hair products in one color nylon bag, under ware in another color, personal stuff like jewelry in another color, recharge cords former phone and computer in another color or type of nylon bag like zipper or draw string, and then they all go in one large zip open duffle bag, so when she's looking for something, she just zips open the big bag, and goes for the right color little bag where she knows the item is.

I love duffle bags. Makes travel easier moving from place to place every night.

I changed my mind, I think I will go with the hard cases, but with wheels :D that should be ok. but, now, the brand! Which one?
I found this site with luggage brand review and there are tons of luggage. But, the ones that caught my eye are Briggs & Riley and Genius Pack. One has great warranty, other is extremely adjustable. Briggs & Riley I have heard of, but for Genius Pack I haven't. Do you know anything about that Genius Pack? What should I do, to go with Briggs & Riley, tey are good, or to try with Genius Pack?

We've replaced all of our luggage with Heys Spinners (4 wheels) and have been pretty happy with them. They're light-weight, hard-side polycarbonate and are a breeze to travel with as they're so easy to push, pull, etc, especially since we've got a 2 1/2 yr old that we've either have to hold or push in a stroller at the airport.

If you use locks, use cheap ones. No such thing as real security any more. I don't even lock my luggage on airlines. I put duct tape on the outside (red or something like that) so I can quickly recognize them in the luggage retrieval area.

Good idea.
