As I posted in another thread, I did see a Gunting (serial number 3XX). The knife I really picked up and played with though was a Chinook. First one I've had a chance to handle. Brawny is the word I would use. I like the blade style a lot more than I thought I would. It looks useful. It is one heck of a big handful of knife. You take two thicknesses of G-10 and then add in a stainless steel line on both sides and then leave enough space for that big thick blade to close and you are talking "thick knife." I don't think I'm interested in carrying this one with a pocket clip. I can see it being a useful field knife but I would have to go with some type of sheath. If you are looking for a real horse of a knife that you don't have to worry about breaking, this one's for you! The dealer was selling it for $100 even.
That dealer had the new Natives with 440v. He also had the new style Viele with VG-10. He had a Lum as well. I saw and handled just about everything I've wanted to see except the Chinese folder. Good show.
