Big Walker Mountain, VA

Back from a week up in SW Virginia. Did some hiking, camping and met with a lot of family members.
These pictures were taken on Big Walker Mountain, which is just off I-77 going toward W. Virginia. Drove most of the way, then hiked in the last 1/4 mile.

The stick is home made. Seasoned Ash. At my advanced age, a sturdy staff is a must.

The camping was, in a word, WET!. Of course, heavy rain to folks like us is just an opportunity to try out different gear.
