This is 1/4 inch 1074 differentialy heat treated with black micarta scales

It is 13.5 inches overall with an 8 inch blade.

I had a hell of a time photographing this one so sorry for the picture quality.

That is one fantastic hamon!!!

Beautiful work on the knife overall too. That point is so fine and the profile so well proportioned that it creates tension. Exciting.

Again, that hamon is stunning in structure and you really pulled it out too. I'd love to know your method. It's tough to get that much contrast.
