At 5lbs 1oz with such a long blade, where is the balance point of that magnificent monster?

Grab it cul! You could have the largest set of crossed Khuks in the world on your wall! Might need a bigger wall tho.

Brother, if I could, I would, but the wife would skin me alive for having two of these beasts, and I guarantee, I'd be moving into your doghouse, if I even think about putting 'em on the wall!

You know, those RNs run in packs, ever see what happens when one of of'em gets pissed off at management???

If I was a floor manager, I better hope my door has a steel interior, cause when them RNs are coming for my hide, your small ass room may be the only thing to save you, and that door better be bust down proof.
 
The Karda and Chakma on these things are probably 10'' long and look miniscule next to the blade.
I never even tried to determine the balance point on mine yet.
I took it from the sheath and was going to rest it on the cardboard box tip down. Even doing it gently, it went through both layers of cardboard, the inside packaging and into touched the hard wood floor.
We're talking serious medicine.

I hang mine separately by itself on special made hooks I made so it won't fall off. Peg board hooks ain't gonna cut it on something this long and heavy.
But she sure is sweet.

Bawanna, you own one too? Is it approximately the same length and made by Kumar?
 
Yes, thanks to great kindness from Yangdu. It's about 40'', not sure on the weight, beastly.
And also made by Kumar.
Taking a page out of Bookies script she had my name scribed on the blade in devanagari.

Wow! What an awesome gesture. Then again, what else can you expect from such a kind lady!
 
Ok folks, this DOTD offering will be withdrawn tomorrow or possibly Saturday.
Don't figure there are many amongst us who have 1200 bucks all at once sooooooo.
Per Yangdu's wisdom and wishes we're gonna do another drawing.
Look for my post tomorrow evening or possibly Saturday afternoon.
If you got 1200 and want this beauty, act quickly.
 
I'm still a newbie. Is there anything we need to know about what to do to get in this drawing, or do we just wait for your post?
