Do you mean the thing the flange will be fitted into?
The finished flange is shown at the end of the video and is impressive in itself.

Sam Salvati posted some film of a British company making huge anchors and chain 100 years ago .Somewhere on this forum. Wrought iron with about 8 men slinging large sledge hammers to make the parts. Choriography at it's best.Makes the Chinese work child's play !!
 
I guess I missed the end of the video. Well worth watching again. What do you suppose that hammer weighs. Or the anvil or the piece of steel that they were working for that matter.
