Lookin at the Cold Steel X2 Voyager. Is there "better?" (If "worse" can be "better?"

BIG HONKIN SHEEPLE UNFRIENDLY ATTITUDE IN-YER-FACE WHOPPER!

I take it we are talking folders only here...

Size and blade shape are only one factor. People tend to get frightened by any knife that you open quickly.

i'd add the CS Vaquero Grande to the list. i think it's more intimidating than the Voyager's look.

I think the sheeple are afraid of folders. Being that you can carry most folders easier than fixed blades. Second thing they don't like are serrations. I guess serrations appear to look like teeth to them. So all of the big folders with serrated blades seem to fit this topic. I wish I had a CS X2, fully serrated to taunt my co-workers with! :D

I'd say people are afraid of OTF auto's like a Makora, especially double-edged versions

I would have to go along with the CS Vaquero Grande. I have one but I would not dare to pull it out in public or there would be people calling 911 as far as the eye can see.

The other one that I have but don't flash in public is the Camillus Aftermath assisted opening. Just the CNC milled external would cause a steeple stampede.

Yeah, I looked at the Vaqueros, but that swoopy blade just looks awkward. Looks easily deflected if you tried to chop with it. The Voyager looks like it would tend to keep going straight into a log or branch without trying to flop over.

As far as a regular production folder goes, I'd have to agree 100% that the Cold Steel Vaquero Grande does take the prize as a totally "un-pc" folder...It's main purpose is as a slashing weapon...All 6 inches of wavy, serrated blade.
