Very cool. There were so many interesting things going on there, but I particularly grinned at them using a drill bit in a drill press as an end mill.

With all that work, I wonder why they didn't make it full tang...

my thoughts too. why didn't they just make it a full tang?

also and cause I dont know...so knife was half bike chain and half rod they welded to it. im assuming same type of steel for heat treating properly, but no idear there?

Awesome video, beautiful knife! Will it withstand any kind of hard use, though? I'm wondering about that partial tang. The knife tang even seemed loose in the handle.

That made me shudder! Don't they at least have dremel bits in Russia?? Anyway very cool video nonetheless.

Was wondering about that too. And did the rod portion end up at the top of the blade, since the chain pattern seemed to be at the bottom?
