Bike chain

I'm putting everything in the new forge room together and pulling out all my chainsaw chains. I'm planning on making some chainsaw damascus next week. In the mix I found a, I think, bicycle chain. Don't know where I got that from. Anyone use these before? If its anything decent I'll probably put it between two saw chains and see what happens.
