The wife and I went for a bike ride today. The weather was perfect for it.
My high dollar bike
:
Swedish mess kit fits well in the trunk:
This is mostly what it looks like in the area I live. All farm land, except a few trees, and that's always where the creeks are:
Reached our destination, about 3 miles outside of town:
By the pond, and through the woods a bit:
Cross through the creek. The water is very low, but I about fell over in the creek, haha. I figured slow was better, but I went too slow, and about lost it:
The destination, by the creek. Broke the mess kit out:
Fired it up, to get some water boiling:
Fired my stove up as well, for the usual hot tea:
Not quite boiling:
Got the Ramen's ready:
Ah, boilage attained:
Not a rolling boil, but good enough for hot tea:
Little for me:
Some for the wife:
Ready to go:
Bon appetit:
After lunch nip:
And a cigar
:
Bikes:
Where we hung out for awhile:
Wife took her Serbian pack, and I opted for the sling bag. I have yet to use my pack:
Not much color to be seen yet:
Creek:
Feather we came across. Don't know what from, but I'm guessing pheasant. We have pheasant and turkeys in the area:
Headed back home:
Thanks for looking.
