Bill? Antlers to Nepal?????

Bill, since it took two weeks (priority mail , my a**) to get the whitetail deer antlers from Wisconsin to Reno, how long and HOW MUCH do you think it would take to get them to Nepal?

I was really disappointed that the antlers arrived two days after Pala left. I keep imagining what those kami artists could do with the antler.

Any shipping cost idea? I'll start collecting aluminum cans from the road side.

Shipping antlers to Nepal is not worth it. It's $26 for the first pound and we'll get busted by Nepali customs. They will sit in the warehouse until Pala returns next year.

For some reason the parcel got marked "target mail -- surface only" so came via truck rather than air. It's all karma and nothing we can do about it.

"targeted" mail, is stuff that is set aside (since 9/11) if they are unsure of the contents. It didn't happen locally, so one of the major hubs must have rattled it, or put some sort of sniffer on it, and decided that it should go by land, rather than air.

She said there was no way to guarantee what would be done once it left the small town post-office.

A shame. I would have loved to have seen the end product. Hope I can.
