I recently had a friend send a Bagwell Damascus, stag handle, Bowie knife made approx. 1985.
As my knowledge is mostly with folding knives, just curious how much attention/attraction this knife might bring.
Any information/ opinions greatly appreciated.

As a side note, I'm a casual collector/fan of well made knives.

Thanks
BV

It would bring quite a lot of attention. Bagwell is well thought of by many, myself included. His knives are collected. Do you have any way to post an image?

This knife was given to me by a friend who is depleting his collection.
The knife was custom made to fit his hand, both of us are lefties.
The knife came with letters/notes from Bill prior to the purchase.

Of course my friend knows how much I appreciate the talent/skill into making knives.

I'm just looking into the Custom Knife world of this attraction.

Thanks

To answer your question, yes I could post a photo at some time.
It would be nice for others to enjoy.
The sheath has a rivet of some sort, near the top, not sure what this was meant for.

Bob, the sheath is designed to be slipped between your belt and pants it keeps the sheath from slipping all the way through and the belt tension holds it in place. kinda like this one
