It is always great to see a deserving knifemaker and best friend in Blade Magazine. Congrats Bill.

Erik- I think he painted it with fingernail polish and etched it in goat pee... seems odd they'd call that a herringbone pattern?

;) :D

Still can't believe Bill did that... after watching Owen's demonstration he shows up with that pattern over the whole knife perimeter!

I do hope Bill does a demonstration on hammering a pommel to match stag. ;) :D

Hey David,

When I write articles for Blade I get a limit of about 1200 words.

A makers "history" should be able to be found on their website...or simply call them up!

My articles (like the one I wrote on Bill) are more focused on what they are doing, how they are going it, what are they doing it with, etc.

Different magazines want different aspects of the makers work.

When I write articles for KI. Bruce Voyles wants...why you should buy this makers work. So the write up's on the makers are shorter but there are more of them.

There are some behind the scenes things that go on as well.

Les, I thought the article was well written, thank you.

Everyone else, Thank you for all the congrats. I really appreciate all the support.
