Hi all,

Just bought a large camp knife from Bill Burke, and wanted to share my experience with you all, especially anyone interested in high performance blades.

The knife displays excellent fit, finish and ergonomics. The blade is super sharp and tough. It easily meets the challenge of any of my basic performance tests, chopping wood, cutting cardboard, rope, etc...

It's a knife that's worthy of being handed down and I'm proud to have it in my collection. Anyone else who feels that first and foremost a knife should be a tool to be used, Bill should be one of the makers on your short list of high performance makers.

I agree %100. I recently got a small hunter from Bill. He bent over backwards in dealing with me. I highly recommend getting one of his knives before his wait starts getting too long.

Hi, I was able to hold one of Bill's Hunters while in a knifeshop in Jackson Hole Wyo. It was a very well done knife, made in the likeness of his mentor Ed Fowler's Pronghorn. Being in Jackson Hole the price seemed way out of line, plus I have 2 of Ed Fowlers Pronghorns. They are my pride and joy. I don't think I would get another Pronghorn style knife right now, but would like a smaller Bowie. Do you guys have a contact for Bill Burke, so I might talk to him about his Bowies. Thanks Regards, Jim

Jose,

Thank you for the kind words. I'll send the pictures of the bowie to you later this evening.

Sixgun,

If you will e-mail me I will be happy to send some pictures to you.

You can indeed bet your life on them to perform . I know from up close and to personal an experience . Look for a write up very soon . If ever I doubted I certainly don't anymore ....

Thanks Jose, I just e-mailed Bill, been out hunting and not on the putter, so I just got your message.Regards, Jim:)
