A 4 piece maple handled set in a maple presentation box. Ordered by me, made by Bill Buxton, Master Smith. I have been admiring his work for quite some time now. If I'm not mistaken, this is only the 4th set in this style he made!

I'm pretty exited with this one!

First pics, made by Bill himself:

I'm proud to be able to add such a nice set to my collection. (have to wait a bit to play with it, I'm working abroad, and won't be home for a while... :()

Bill, thank you for making this set!

Kind regards,

Jos

Just a tremendous set, Jos - congrats! Like Marcel, I really dig that damascus.

Bill does tremendous work, he is one of my favorite makers!!!

It's all good, but that is some of the very best wire inlay I have ever seen! The scrolls appear to be near perfect.

Love these sets. I have photos saved of each one. Knives, display case, all top-shelf.
Though you don't get a sense of true size from the photos thesedisplayss are quite large.
I'm sure it's a huge project to create one of these sets.

Nice work Bill. I really like the damascus too. It's a neat effect to have the lines in the steel perpendicular to the rays in the maple handles. Throw in the curls from the silver wire inlay.. nice stuff!! Everything works very well together.

Congrats, the set and presentation box is stunning.

I look forward to see what MS Buxton brings to blade, his walrus and Damascus bowies I have seem pics of have been stupendous.

Man, those are SO cool. Each one individually is great, and as a set super great! Congrats to you and Bill!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments, these sets are very time consuming and somewhat exhausting but the end results are worth it.

Jos, it was my pleasure and I thank you for your patience.

Bill

Sorry so late, Bill.
I've been marveling over this set since it was posted.
Everyone should have one.

I drooled over this set the first time I saw it posted. Then I drooled over it again in Arkansas. And I'm now drooling for the third time.
