I see Bill has been posting these days and it reminded me that I wanted to post this here.
About a month ago I was looking around some maker's sites and came across this knife on Bill Buxton's site and it really struck me.
I've always liked Mr. Buxton's knives and owned one of his EDC's in the past, that being one of the most comfortable mid-sized knives I've owned.
It's in a 4 3/8" blade in W2 with a nice hamon.
Handle is desert ironwood for an OAL of 9 1/4"
Damascus guard
It's sculpted handle just melts into the hand and is comfortable in a variety of grips. The damascus guard is particularly nice and I enjoy exploring it's pattern. The hamon is as nice as it looks too.
Symmetry is extremely good with the blade and edge centered to the guard and handle. Fit and finish is top notch.
Thanks Bill.
