The other day I got my EDC from Bill....52100 with white micarta scales.....all I can say is WOW!

Bill's execution of this knife is outstanding and he has become a true master of the heat treating of 52100.

I have been cutting just about everything in sight with the knife and it keeps going. Cardboard, PVC, limbs from the old butternut tree outside the shop...what a great blade this is!

There is that line that separates a good knife from a great knife....and Bill's EDC is absolutely superb!

Seriously, thank you so much for a very nice review, its always good to hear that my knives perform well the way others, other then myself use them. Also to have a quality knifemaker like yourself, comment like this. Well, that is doubly humbling. Thank You.

And just think, he doesn't need any smoke OR mirrors :D

Nope....no smoke and mirrors here....just a great blade...

Brian...here is a pic Bill took of the knife....the pic is a bit deceiving....the blade has a real nice hand rubbed finish and in the pic it looks darker.

I think he could charge twice as much for a knife like this and still serve the customer well. I saw one up for sale and decided not to sit on the fence....no regrets at all.

I think it says a lot when a well established knifemaker buys another knifemaker's knife.
 
Bill's makes some beautiful blades, but those EDCs are going like hotcakes. :cool:
 
Yea boy ! Thats a sweet piece of steel for sure.Gives us greenhorns something to aim for.Nice work !!
 
I remember that one I think, very handy looking design, and the ivory micarta looks awsome.
 
I agree with the above, especially Danbo. I've always admired Bill for from afar. One day I'm gonna hafta get myself out to Kaiser, MO for some 52100 tips.
