I have been sittin here looking through Cabela's online store trying to figure out what to use a gift card on, and this caught my eye. Any one have any experience with this knife? Seems to be a pretty good sale price, even if Cabela's regular pricing is usually quite high.

I'd love to hear from any of you that have used this knife. Looks like it would make a good "slicy" skinner. Thanks.

It's a great little knife. It has a partial (not full) tang so I wouldn't use it for real heavy cutting. The handle is long enough that I can get a secure three finger grip on it but not quite room (for me) to get a full four fingers around the handle. The handle is however, very comfortable. Lots of variations for carry are possible. Hope this helps!

Thanks David. I don't think I'm going to order it yet. Thought about it but realized I have enough knives that fit the bill for a skinner at this point, so gonna wait and find something else for now. I appreciate the input.
