Well, today's event consisted of a mass feeding at the Golden Corral off I-270 near Frederick, MD. I don't think anybody left there hungry...if so, it was their own darn fault...
Tomorrow we start at 8 AM with demonstrations.
It was real nice to meet folks and put faces to the names I've heard so much around here. They're saying this looks to be the most well-attended ABS hammer-in to date.
It wasn't until I was almost finished eating when I realized I was sitting next to Bader of Bader grinders...Pounced on him, like he was catnip. Great guy - very friendly, helpful and knowledgable.
Here's the best part of the evening, though...
Right outside the door to our feeding frenzy area at the restaurant was a sign that read:
ABS ROOM
That may not seem funny at first, but can you imagine the stares we got when some of the biggest, burliest, big-belly guys came walking out of the "Abs" room?
Sheds a whole new light on "Abs and Buns of Steel"...
