Myself and Pat Curran will be heading down Thursday....poor Aldo can't go :(

i am going ;my fine feathered friend, and i am bringing don corleone aka slugger. the forcast doesnt look to good for camping 40s at nite and lots of rain. so bundle up sweetheart :o

Heading out Thursday at noon.Bringing along the most awesome graver ball you ever saw.10" round and weighing over 50 pounds.I have two and one is for sale,complete with vise and leather base.This year I am treating the wife to a stay at the Catoctin Inn in Buckeystown.A real fine B&B.Fireplaces in the rooms and Jacuzzis in the baths.No more Holiday Inn Express.

I'll be there for Friday and dinner the night before. You mean I can't pick on Aldo???...damn. :p
 
I'll be there. Leaving after work on Thur. Doubt I'll get there before midnight. I'll probably be camping. Just finished my comp knife. Watco drying as we speak.

would it be worth while for a stock removal guy to make the trip
i sorta think it would be good but im just not sure about the cash and time how bout some input
 
I'm there!!! I need to be in the shop on Thursday...so I'm driving over Friday Morning. Hope to get there about noon. I'm planning to stay till saturday afternoon then head home Saturday night to get ready for Bowie's Hammer-in the next week....then Piney Woods at the ABS school after that.

wheeewh! October is busy, busy , busy!

If you have not gone to a hammer-in you are truly missing out.

There will be classes going on fri., sat, and sun.
There is a forge site set up with hands on forging all weekend.
Cutting Comp. on friday night.
Knife show(table for your wares included) and Auction(which is always a great time) on Sat.
You get to tour Bill Morans shop! With Bill Moran! :thumbup:
Not to mention you get to spend the weekend with some of the best makers in the country.

And if thats not enough.... J. Neilson will be there... :eek:
If you see him, just go right up to him and give him a big MAN hug...he loves it! :D

The whole weekend is $135.00...
The knife show and auction are free o the public on Satuday....I think that starts at one.
