When I was about 12, I read Knives 82 and a story about Ken Warner and his children visiting Bill Moran at his shop. Bill made a knife as a demonstration for the kids. My young self soooooo wished I could visit a famous maker and get a knife too. Years later I received so much more from makers I’ve interacted with. I thank you all!!!! I was rereading my Knives annuals, and came across that article again and I decided to emulate the blade Bill Moran made that day. Mine is not forged as was his but I’m very happy with the results. The handle shape really fits my paw. The blade is quite a useful general purpose shape. I used green/black G10 for the scales. Overall it is 9 3/8in. The blade is made from .200 thick 5160 and is about 4 1/4 of cutting edge. Weight is 8oz.
