After Bill Moran died I realized I had over 50 forged blades but none that were made in his style. I have corrected that. This is a replicant of a Moran ST-24 by bladesmith Chris Owen. Look at page 159 of "Master of the Forge" by Hughes and Price if you happen to own it. The sheath is leather covered maple. Like all Moran knives, this one will have some "character". The blade is 11 1/4" long.

I plan on using it. :)

Anthony,
What a treat !!
Love everything about it, from the killer blade shape and Damascus,as well as it's length, to the gorgeous handle and inlayed wire.
Oops! Almost forgot the guard, just right.
What a fitting tribute to Bill Moran.
Thanks for posting it .

Doug :)

Love the style and inlay work...he does Moran justice.... I would like to use it also on a nice Buck or Bull Elk this Fall.....or a Bear or a Brown Trout or cutting anything.

I'd like to own it!
Or use it on a pork roast this weekend off the grill! What a gorgeous stlye and kudo to Bill Moran. You are truly a Mastersmith. This is a pride piece! Enjoy.
