This weekend is the custom knife show at the old Bill Moran shop in Middletown MD. I'm going to be there, probably coming by in the afternoon. A woodcarver/knifemaker coworker/buddy of mine is there, Ron Myers, along with some other knife makers. They plan on being set up under a pavilion. The weather will be in the upper 80s out there this weekend. It's summer, so thunder showers are possible. I love that area. I'm broker than a bunkhouse rat as my father says, but I'll be there. Going to work a couple hours OT before I head out there though. The show is free and it looks like they will have demonstrations and a tour of the shop. I've driven past his shop a couple dozen times, but never set foot inside.

I wish I was back there to go with ya!!

Please give my regards to both Ron, and to Jay Hendrickson and his wife Nancy if they are there.

I used to drive by there before I even knew who he was. Saw the sign, did a little research and was amazed.

Because I couldn't get my butt out of bed, I am going to be leaving work at 230 and hoping to get from Baltimore to Braddock Heights/Frederick by 3 so I can enjoy the remains of the show, before people start putting stuff in their vehicles.
