Bill Ruple Damascus Sowbelly

Oh my, is that sweet or what?
Thanks for showing us that nifrand :D

That's too cool for school. Another one of those very subdued but intricate pieces. It kinda has that "magic eye" effect.

Very nice--elegant but not over the top.

I feel liquid assets flowing away from me just looking at the picture... :)

Boy that's some knife.., what is the scale material if you get a chance to respond...?

Pete,

The scales are spirograph damascus. This slipjoint is about 95% damascus. Even the two blade springs are heat treated damascus as well, in a random pattern damascus. You can see the three stainless pins in the photo, but there is also a stainless steel liner. All of Bill Ruple's knives are eloquent pieces.
I enjoy collecting knives, but a big thanks goes to Randy (nifrand), for letting me shadow him at knife shows. He has taught me alot about slipjoints, folders and knifemakers. Thanks Randy.
