I had been eying this knife for some time, and finally decided to just pick it up.
The maker is Bill Smith, a fellow I believe is local to New Mexico, and a very nice person.
I couldn't find anything about the maker here on the forums, but it could be due to the name Smith being very popular. He was very nice and patient with my many passing by's of his table. I have to admit that it looks rough, but I think that was what appealed to me. It has a sort of rough yet elegent feel to it. I wanted to share this lovely bowie with you all.
I have always loved bowies, especially ones with big ole hilts and this one fit the bill just right. So now it seems I have finally treaded down the path of customs and we shall see how deep it heads into my pocket
