I have to comment on this. I just got an AG Russell catalog in the mail. They have the Camillus EDC in D-2 available in it. On one side of the knife is all the Camillus printing, on the other in big letters is AG Russell D-2. Why dont you guys ditch the machine that puts all that stuff on there. I am sure there are bigger minds than mine to figure out what sells. That said, I would not drive a car that was a rolling ad, and I will not buy a knife with credits on it that approach that of a major motion picture. Its too much guys, enough already. Look at the spyderco's. Thats how it should be. Even benchmade gets carried away on a few models. Who wants a blade or knife with writing all over it. Not me.....ever. Find a way to be super tasteful and understated.

Mike,
I hear what you are saying, but in this case, we etched the logo that you are speaking of at the request of the man that had the knives made, AG Russell. I think AG made the right choice. These knives are different than the standard EDC's. Most customers would like to know that they bought something special, in the case of the special edition.

Mike, while we hear from a few folks, usually true knife enthusiasts like yourself, that want as little as possible marked on a knife, we get mail from ALOT more people who have a knife, and don't know what make, model, steel, country, or year it was made. And alot of times they are MAD about it

We have to strike a balance. In this case, for you, we have stepped over the line. I'm sorry about that, but there are alot of folks that are pleased with themselves for buying a special knife[and paying more for it], and want to show it off.

I'm sorry that you don't like the logo on the blade, but I hope you like the knife, and we appreciate having you as a customer!

Nobody is moaning about a logo Will. Its all that other stuff. Let me put it this way. When more blade surfaces are covered with words than clean, ask yourself if you are doing the right thing. But again, you guys make em', and know how to sell em. Maybe its just me. Your have a point, I am not the average buyer by a long shot. As for AG Russell.....the man does like to see his name in print :-)..LOL
