"Billy Fish" Khuk

I saw the movie "The Man Who Would Be King" again this weekend. One of the characters was a Ghurka nicknamed Billy Fish and yes he had a big Khuk at his side. In the film's climax Billy Fish pulls his Khuk and wades into the holstiles. For those of you who have never seen this film it's well worth renting the video.

Loki: I remember watching Braveheart and rewinding it afterwards. I'd just taken it out and put it back in the rental case when the UPS truck stopped at my door and I raced out to sign for a five foot long box( 45" double edged blade and 58" OAL ).
Had to stop using it in the house, though, ceilings were showing the inadvertent cuts.

Hey Rusty:

Seems that many of us are members of the "ceiling wacker" club. Those long blades make it so easy to misjudge. My wife's reaction to my joining the club was "Swift move Zorro." As to more Khuks I've run out of room for the time being - a dozen or so seems to be carrying capacity.

I loved the movie too. Have you ever read the original story by Rudyard Kipling? It's really great, I'll have to dig out my copy and read it again.
