Biltong... and cleaning a blade.

Just received a cute biltong! Sharp enough to eat my FRESH venison for lunch!

After washing the blade, there was some discoloration (aka "patina"). So I looked under the kitchen sink and found "Cleaning Creme for Smooth Top Ranges". It cleaned the stain in a moment and was effortless.

The biltong sheath frog loop is too small for anything but a leather thong around my neck. How have some of you carried it?

The biltong is a lot of fun, isn't it? Mine is a mite too small to consider for real carry, but it would be an easy task to make a larger frog to lace up and fit right over the original. Maybe someday Craig will have the kamis make up some in other distinctive styles. Thanks for the cleaning tip!
