I have 9 left out of the 20. If anybody wants one email me. They are $30 delivered to your door. These are NOT BirGorkha products but they are pretty decent little khukuris.

Somewhere there's a pix of one. If you do a search on Bilton you'll probably find it.

Bill what's the blade and handle length on the Biltons?
And send me one as well!!!! E-mail getting ready to be sent.:)

E-mail sent!!!!!!!:D
Thanks!

And a PS as well stating that I prefer the Rosewood handle if possible.
I love Rosewood and love my H.I.Khuk's that have the old Rosewood handles!!!!

Mine have all held up excellently, maybe the kami's preference for the Saatisal is because of the hard use in Nepal?
I doubt anyone in ten years: here in the states, or anywhere else for that matter, puts as much wear and hard use as the standard Nepali puts on a khuk in a year!!!!

Ah my collection is growing.
This will be a good one to practice sharpening techniques.
Thanks Uncle Bill.

Thanks Bill!!!!

I assume these are larger than the original Biltons because of what you posted for the original bunch from a wandering kami? ie.------

First of all I don't know why this is called a "Bilton" khukuri. That's what it said on the shipping invoice. I have no idea what the name might mean or how they dreamed it up.

These little khukuris were not made by the kamis of BirGorkha.----- So, I'm guessing that some wandering village kami came by and unloaded them on Pala.

Little is the key word. These khukuris are 8.5 inches and weigh four ounces.

These are great little khukuries. I got a pair the first time around. You don't want to miss out on one of these.

just sent an email, hope i am lucky, cause i wont have internet for the next 3 weeks, but will check my email periodically.

All gone + a couple of misfires thanks to Nepali shipping staff. They have problems counting over ten since they run out of fingers and it's too cold to take off shoes.

They vary a little in length and weight.

Boy!!!! I'll say they Vary in Size!!!!Bigtime!!!!!!!

Mine came in yesterday and it's blade is 5 1/4" and the handle is
3 3/4" for an over all length of 8 7/8 inches!!!!
Very nicely hardened and Amazingly The First Fully Convex Bevel I've Seen in Ages!!!!

I don't even care that it's a partial tanged knife as I doubt it will ever be used hard enough to worry about that.:)

Kinda funny that the cho looks like it was almost overlooked and filed in later, after the blade was made, from the file and burr marks left on it.
The other small khuks I have with the exception of the Kagas Katnes all have chos that appear to have been forged in.

All in all the Bilton is a oh so wonderful little khukuri and a perfect ladies knife among many other uses.
I can see it as an added benefit to even a really fine set of Kitchen Cutlery!!!!

Should have read 5 and 4. Never believe any specs or numbers I have to type. (Yeah, tell this to the IRS!) And don't believe the pix I take, either.

But many thanks for reminder and field report.
