Anyone have this or heard of this?

I use biometric fingerprint access devices in my profession, and I would NEVER trust my life to one. They fail to open on the first try frequently.

For your main gun collection, fine. For your rapid access home defense weapon, forget it.

I recall a few years ago, a holster maker came up with a fingerprint-release holster. It was talked up at first, and seems to have floated off the radar.

I didn't notice any sort of over ride (ie key or combo) to get around the biometrics if the electronics fail.
