How did you age it?
I cover the detail with quickly drying paint. Then I scratch the paint with a sharp needle. After that I scrape out the scratched places electrochemically with current 12V DC and electrolyte. Then I wipe the paint.
I repeat the manipulation repeatedly until I like the result.
After that I darken the detail with cold gun oxidation.
