Anybody else using this product or something similar? I bought this at Walmart for a little under $4 but I saw Hoppe's had a version of it at a different store. I thought it might be good for protecting carbon steel blades that will be sitting for a bit as I live on the coast. I don't have any long term results yet but was just curious as to if any of you guys had already tried this product. So far I wiped down a few of my GEC knives & it does a good job of removing finger prints & not just Smearing them around like some rags will. It also seemed to put a non oily coating on the blade & really shined up the ebony & Mexican bocote wood scales I tried it on. There is zero smell or mess as well which is nice. It probably doesn't do much or I'm sure I would have read about other people using it on here but I guess only time will tell. Here are a couple pictures of the product I'm talking about.
