I've never been hugely into knifes so some of the names for knifes leave me scratching my head and googling for specs.

I just finished hammering this out. Still not pro quality but it went the quickest yet with the best off the anvil finish I've managed.

4" from tip to ricosso, just over 3 3/4" of handle.

After grind it should be about 1/8" at the tang, I hammered in a distal taper.

Edge is a bit scalloped but shouldn't take too much grinding to clean that up. The best part for me is the lack of erratic an deep hammer marks.

The tip could use a bit more work but its the best one off the anvil yet.

I can see a knife in it. Looks like it could become a nice little drop point bird and trout, or even a small deere knife. As you get more experience you'll get batter and shaping have to do less grinding, but even tribal smiths do some grinding. At least with a stone to sharpen it!
