Hello. Lots of talk about avian flu these days. While I have no intention of fleeing for the hills, I believe in being proactive. If a significant number of people are affected by this avian flu, we may see a breakdown in many of the things we take for granted. I.e food availability, utilities, medical help. I believe I don't have sufficient knowledge (yet) to put together a survival kit to see myself and my family through this potential breakdown. Can anyone offer suggestions? Potential sources of reliable information? Again, I simply feel that chance favors the prepared mind. I put it to you Bladeforum folks, who are rapidly becoming my "go-to" guys (and girls) for most of my questions. Thanks in advance! :D

edit: I am in Canada, but I believe U.S sources of info would also be of value.

Shoot all the birds you see. Advocate the USG to contract with KFC to provide low cost robin and sparrow dinners to homeless shelters. Allow proximty fuse 12 ga loads to used in duck hunting. International House Of Parrots.
