Yes. Not regular Old Timer line production, since they were all handled in "Sawcut Delrin", but a special bone handled limited edition, with fancier bolsters, special blades or polish, shields, and blade etches. These were made under Schrade's usual strict quality inspection standards, and as was Schrade policy, some overuns were held back for warranty replacement. It was not abnormal to have a 10-15% overrun, particularly on something with bone handles where reject rates for assembled knives were higher than for production Delrin ones. Unfortunately, when Schrade's inventory was sold, the rejects and the overruns were mixed and became impossible to distinguish without close in-hand examination. The only way to be assured of obtaining one which passed QC is to buy one documented to come from a pre July 2004 collection which is still complete in the original presentation packaging. I think Del and most of the guys here will agree with this.
That said, even the rejects make nice higher grade users, in spite of missing or weak etches, missing shields, pin cracks, mismatched cover colors, etc. I have several such knives in my collection as "type" examples, and am not under the delusion that they have the quality, appearance, or value of the aforementioned "perfect complete example".
