It`s almost time for bird season, so I thought I would see if anyone is interested in ordering a Bird & Trout knife. These are made from 3/32" O1, 3/4" tall, by 3" blade, 7" overall. Price will be $100.00 shipped in USA. Price includes leather pouch sheath, and any handle material I offer. Money orders or cashiers checks only. Delivery will be in October. If you are interested, please email me with handle choice and whether you need a right or left hand sheath.

Am I completely out of my mind? Every time I see this knife I think, hmmm if the blade was turned over and this was more of a sheepsfoot/wharncliffe this would be one hell of a handy knife.
To me as it is it looks like a great steak knife. Hmmmm a set of steak knives...

I was thinking about a thin handle for a female friend who happens to be a Hell of a wingshot.

I'm an old fishermen, new hunter. And have always heard about this "Bird and Trout" knife. But what are the benefits?

Basically a B & T has a slender, thin stock blade. A lot of guys use folders, but it`s hard to get the "gunk" out of them.

I'll take one with thumb notched, tan micarta and red liners. And a matching firesteel please.
