Birdseye coffin handle..........

Here is one thats been on the bench a while.....I will attempt a third try at a sheath ....and if this one doesnt work it's going without one! I have already made and messed up two sheaths for it.
Anyway.... Shes 1084 forged blade...fittings of 0-1...birdseye maple handle with nickle silver plates. 13 5/8"OAL
Let me know what you think.....good or bad.

Looks good! Interesting almost spear point/clip point looking, I cant tell for sure from the pic. The maple looks great. Great work as usual!

That looks great. The Coffin Handle Bowie is such a classic design and you've really captured, almost celebrated that.

p.s. I really like some of the fancy knives but I especially love a knife that sticks to the functional roots of these designs and you've done that. There were first of all designed to be users.
