Birseye Maple Take-down Hunter

I try to be really careful about what type of style abd fittings to use with this Stabilized Birdseye Maple because it's so light in color! Actually, when I started to make this knife I almost used a really dark Rosewood, but this turned out OK.
Anyway, stabilized Birdseye Maple by WSSI, with some hot-blued mild steel take-down fittings.
5160 blade steel forged down from heavy stock.
My normal Take-down Assembly with checkered take-down Wrench.

Another nice one Karl. I normally don't like blond woods at all for any use, however this works very well. :thumbup: :thumbup:
