Basically I want a drop point for EDC, but well made with quality materials (I can't afford a Sebenza yet, sorry :o ).
I'm a big guy with large hands so I feel comfortable with folders like the SERE2000, Spyderco Military & Manix or Benchmade Skirmish.
A T2/T3 Lone Wolf Harsey Ranger looks good, but I'd like to understand the different combinations available (too many! ).
-blade sizes (T2, T3)
-handle materials (FRN, wood, anything else maybe?)
-liner materials (stainless steel, Titanium)
If anybody has them please post some pics also. Thanks in advance!

Hello. With the budget you've described, that nixes the Striders, but don't fret:

SERE 2K - probably the standard by which liner locks are judged

Manix - Proven lock mechanism, utilitarian shape and beefy feel.

Extrema Ratio BF2TD - more EDC-looking than their pure Military line

Ruckus - A large boy too, fits with what you're looking for.

Hope that helps.

Well maybe I did not explain myself clearly... I'm thinking about a Lone Wolf Harsey Ranger. The question is which version. I already own the knives described by me before... Thanks anyway.

Give the ZT0200 a look. At $130 from NGK, one heck of a deal for a well built, tough as nails folder. It has 154CM blade steel, sculpted G-10 handles, .075" thick hardened stainless liners, 4-way clip attachment, and fit and finish you would expect on a higher dollar knife.
