Birthday gift for myself?

I need some help deciding on what to get myself for my 30th birthday. I have a pretty decent collection so far, and am mostly interested in folders. My most recent is a para 2. The majority of my knives are spyderco, but I would like to round out my collection with some others. I'm looking to spend around $150 maybe a bit more. I have been looking at the hogue EX-01. I have a ZT 0350 already, and 2 manix 2's. Any other suggestions? I also wouldn't mind getting a custom from someone on the forum, but I don't do the paypal thing. Any ideas?

Maybe look into a Benchmade Emissary, a Spyderco Para-Military 2, or maybe an Al Mar Ultralight... or a Moki... or perhaps a new Case knife...
 
You need to seriously consider a Benchmade 950 rift or if you're into something larger, the 741 Onslaught. Personally the 950 Rift is the best knife out there bar none.
and I've been doing the knife thing for over 5 decades.
 
The Hogue line are really impressively built, I don't think you'll be disappointed with one.
 
out of what you listed i like the Hogue, handled one at a local establishment and it felt pretty good in the hand.

The Hogue EX-01 is a excellent choice I have 2 of them 1 G-Mascus and 1 Aluminum handle it's hard to say which one I like best! I've done auto conversions on both of mine but the auto version is available now so you don't have to convert a manual if you want a auto.
 
I know you said you were looking beyond Spyderco, but the Vallotton Sub-Hilt really deserves a look. The fit/finish on this knife is outstanding. Not a small knife @ 3.75" long X .157" thick for the blade. Weight is just over 6 ounces, but man does this knife feel solid in your hand!!
 
If you have some patience I would wait and look around for the beautiful all titanium Benchmade Mini Skirmish. These are unfortunately discontinued but would really make ones collection.
 
do you got a spyderco civilian? their great! I'd recommend one. good conversation starter and nothing quite like it out there.
