I just received my birthday gift from my best friend. although it is more than 5 months late, the thought is still great. money is tight for both of us. I had always enjoyed his BM 723SBKD2 and today, i opened up the mail and it was there. To make it even better a BM 760BK was in the box too.

We both got a special tour of the BM factory a couple months ago and he buttered up to the cute sales rep (alicia i think). He emailed her off and on the past couple months and he ended up with a 50% off coupon for his next order. He ended up not being able to afford anything so i gave him money for a lum tanto and he let me use the coupon.

I dont think i could ask for a better BEST FRIEND.....thanks casey (hobojo).
this is what it looked like when i opened up the USPS flat rate box

If you have great friends with an honest sense of humor, there's not much in this life you're missing. :)

Happy birthday.

When I saw this earlier I smiled. Im never sure how to answer these types of threads. But for people like me, silence is the best compliment, so Ill shut up.

Well, after I say happy birthday.

Congrats for your gift.

A good friend got me interested in Khukuri's last year but he didn't have any quality Khuk's of his own whereas I had gone and bought 6 in 6 months.

I gave him a Himalayan Imports British Army Service Khukuri for his 70th birthday in February and got more pleasure giving it to him than if I'd kept it for myself.

It really can be better to give than receive. :D

How do you like the Lum?

its really loose but ill tighten it up, gotta find my blue box:rolleyes:
its long but not thick like my full size skirmish. i think i will take it to church today, usually its a BM 906sbkd2 that accompanies me.
havent cut anything with M4 tho.
