The birthday of my Small is the same as mine. Luck.
Greetings.

I have only seen one with my birthday. That said, my birthday has fallen on a Friday or Saturday the past two years. I saw a small micarta Insingo that was only one day off. I was sorely tempted and had to laugh that it was so close.

Yep!:D Thanks to Lone_Wolfe, I was able to get the only CRK I've ever seen with my birthday. A small 21 with no Idaho Made stamp. And it matches my Large 21 with no stamp!

Only ever seen one with my birthday, passed on it
Bought a bloodwood Mnandi with my dad's birthday, though. He passed away in '10, so that one's a keeper.
Bought one on impulse once recently because it's DOB was the day he died, but that seemed a little morbid so it's up for sale.

haha, actually, the odds aren't that bad, subtract the holidays, the weekends and misc days...the odds for getting one on a same birthdate is quite good. Assuming one was not born on Christmas Day or New Years Day or something, then their odds are zero!

Wow....we have some very YOUNG knife enthusiasts on this forum!! :-)

My Sebenza was born on 2/13/13. I was born on 2/16 several years earlier. That is close enough for me.

I scored 25 Prototype # 13 on my birthday July 13 which Mr Reeve assembled on the same. Score of a lifetime. Gotta keep this one forever!25 BDay.jpg

My small drop point is one week before my 40th birthday. My small Insingo is one week before my 24th wedding anniversary.

I was thinking the same thing. These guys are amazingly articulate for someone barely a year or two old, never mind the Sebenzas !......:p

Now just need someone to get one with their exact birthday. I need an April 9th 1986 HAHA I would tell my self I wouldn't buy it but man oh man would I have a hard time not to. Seems like all his knifes back then where fixed blades too.

You know, off and on, I have considered placing my "date wanted" (not specifically meaning I want a date ..... you know what I mean!!) on the CRK Birthday Wish List .... but always change my mind. I think it would be far more fantastic to buy a CRK, open the box and actually find it had the birth date I was wanting!! I mean, that would have to be some kind of sign ... I don't know, maybe to buy a lottery ticket or something!! Anyway ..... was wondering. Does anyone know why that birthday wish list thread isn't a sticky? It has migrated all the way back to page 9 as of today. Kind of hard to find.

The chances are probably thinner than you'd think. They don't send out knives 4 days a week, right? Seems like the dealer sites don't have new knives for sale often enough for that to be the case.

I ordered a Ebony inlay a couple years ago and it showed up the week after my birthday, and the certificate had the same day, month as my birthday. I thought it was kinda cool.......until I sold it.
